Helping neighbors in need during the holiday season has never been more important than now, with food insecurity at high levels in our community. For this reason, Tobias & Comer Law will be spearheading a food and monetary donation drive – Holiday Dinners 2025 – to help stock Love All Pantry at Central Presbyterian Church in Midtown Mobile.
“It is a stressful time for the pantry as we seek to source nutritious and healthy foods for our clients,” said Connie Guggenheimer of Love All Pantry. “Food prices are rising, and fresh foods are just more difficult to find, and we are seeking to respond to so many new, struggling families.”
Now through December, Tobias & Comer Law will be collecting non-perishable food items at their 1203 Dauphin Street office and monetary donations through a secure website link.
“Please consider a donation of food, a monetary donation, or gift certificate from a local grocer, so that Love All Pantry can purchase turkeys, hams and fresh vegetables for holiday meals,” said Bryan Comer, partner at Tobias & Comer Law. “The need for nutritious fresh foods and meats is critical for healthy families. With food insecurity at an all-time high, and with the holidays approaching, I encourage everyone who can to contribute to families in our community to help supply them with food.”
To encourage participation, Tobias & Comer Law will be challenging others during this Holiday Dinners Challenge and will match donations, up to $2,500.
“Love All Pantry feeds 750 families every week,” said partner Desi Tobias, adding “we have been longtime supporters of Love All Pantry and Art Soup, and this is a wonderful opportunity to have a more personal hand in bringing help to our neighbors in need.”
